Burton M. Sundin, MD

Dr. Burton Sundin is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Sundin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University and is also a graduate of Duke University Medical School. He continued his training at Duke and ultimately graduated from his residency in plastic surgery at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Sundin also completed a hand fellowship at the world renowned Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, KY.
After leaving Duke, Dr. Sundin completed an advanced fellowship in cosmetic surgery at The University of Alabama at Birmingham under the guidance of Dr. Luis Vasconez.. He was given a faculty appointment as Instructor while at UAB.
Dr. Sundin is the founder of the Virginia Institute of Plastic Surgery in Richmond, Virginia. He is an expert in all forms of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. His interests include:

Reps Barnes Sundin, MD
Dr. Reps Sundin will be joining the Virginia Institute of Plastic Surgery in 2010. He is currently performing an advanced cosmetic surgery fellowship with Dr. Sherell Aston in New York City. Dr. Reps Sundin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown University and then attended medical school at The University of Alabama at Birmingham where he graduated AOA. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Kansas University and is now working at Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital.
